about

i've spent months struggling with my sense of self-worth. this has mainly manifested itself in long periods where I don't play, write, or record any new music. i've combed through the synthesizer recordings I have made during this period and found 5 pieces in which i see some truth outside of myself.

what i long for most is the clarity of mind to transform raw sonic material into an emotional experience, and i think these recordings capture my process. i hope they allow you to feel some kind of peace.

all sounds recorded live in some place that felt like home between April and September 2018. all sounds sourced from an OP-1, modular synthesizer (all modules by Make Noise, Mannequins, Doboz, and Mutable Instruments), and guitar pedals (Source Audio Nemesis, Smallsound/Bigsound Pretty Years, Fairfield Shallow Water, MASF Possessed). editing is minimal to non-eixstent.
